Hello!
My name is Caroline, I am new to this list. I am looking for information on the Judge John (circa 1772-1855) and Eleanor McEnny Gilmore family of Bond County Il. I am so excited because I just discovered yesterday that he went to Bond County Il. and when I checked your website site found several tidbits of info. on him! I am hoping to find out who Judge John Gilmore's parents were. Judge John Gilmore's brother Matthew is my direct line and I've been at such a brick wall, decided to branch out and research the siblings lines in hopes of a break through, and it's interesting to find out about the rest of the family. I will be most happy to share anything that I have and would just love ANY old scrap of information that anyone else can tell me!!!! Judge John Gilmore
had the following BROTHERS and SISTERS----

Matthew---born circa 1769 married Margaret "Peggy" Logan in Blount County Tn.

Elizabeth--married George Davidson in York County Va.

Jane---married James McCrory

Mary---married Alex Scott

James---married Sarah Glass

William--

I have a lot of information on Matthew, Elizabeth and Jane, small amounts (so far)
on Mary, James and William. I only have the descendents chart on John that I found in William Gilmore's Gilmore Genealogy book.
