There is only one Cramer in the Boone Co. 1950 surname index that I have
and it is in Leroy Twp and not a Fred or John. There is no Fred Cramer
in Boone or Winnebago Co. in my 1860 index. The only John is in
Belvidere Twp of Boone Co. He is age 39 and was born in Germany.

There is no Cherry Valley twp in Boone Co in 1850 or 1860. Cherry
Valley is in Winnebago County now and I believe so is Cherry Valley
twp. There were some name changes of townships. A mile strip of
Winnebago Co was transferred to Boone county at one point. I don't
recall the date.
Cedar Bluff Cemetery is in Winnebago Co. The USGS map seems to place it
near the river in the Rockford downtown area. Perhaps you should inquire
with the Winnebago list.
