Hello,
As a new to list I am very in the dark about this county, living in
Syracuse, NY and having almost no Illinois info.
Was Boone Co formed from another county?
I had a Joel Rice in LeRay twp ca 1846 deed and 1850 & 1860 census. Also in
1850 family of Seymour Rice, wife, son Charles, and probable brothers
Bradly, Harvey, William and Leonard all b NY 1830s and Polly, possible
mother, b VT before 1800. Also a Jehiel Rice Jr in 1850 mortality census.
Haven't any onfo re him. Any info re any of these appreciated, especially
marriages of Leonard and Bradley and looking for any bio Joel and cemetery
inscriptions for Jehiel Jr and Polly.
Any advice on how to proceed appreciated.
