I ordered a copy of a marriage record from 1882. It
included the names of the parents (including mother's
maiden name) of the bride and groom. Did the earlier
marriage books - specifically 1862 - have the parents'
names listed?
Also, on the Clinton County Website, it is stated that
marriage records beginning from 1877 can be ordered
from the County Clerk. Where would I obtain a
marriage registration from 1862?
Thanks!
Nancy
