Hi Dorothy
Can you help with a problem? Conrad's great grandmother
Theresie Albers - Lager came to this country from Germany in
1851 with her husband, Theodore Lager, children, John,
Theodore and Caroline. They landed in New Orleans and spent
from 1851 to 1860 in St. Louis, then part of the family moved to
Clinton County to live on a farm after 1860. We lost track of
husband, Theodore John Lager.
We are trying to find the Albers siblings of Theresie Albers. We
have documentation that Albert Herman Albers (born 1797) travelled on the
same ship from Lengerich to New Orleans - St. Louis.
Also John Henry Albers born ca. 1806 and his family, Theresa, Mary, Henry,
Caroline and Joseph, lived next door to Theresie Albers-Lager and her
family, Theodore, John & Caroline Lager,in St. Louis, as shown in the 1860
Census. (Theodore Lager, Sr. is missing from this census).
If anyone reading this has information regarding the Albers Generations,
please contact .
Evelyn & Conrad Nettemeyer
Thank you..........Dorothy if this is too long, please shorten it as you
wish............hope these holidays are kind to you. Evelyn
