These symbols can be important clues too!
The tombstone of my g.g. grandfather had a Masonic
emblem on it. I contacted the local Masonic Lodge and
received a copy of a lengthy handwritten obituary,
which gave me the date and place of his birth, as well
as an insight into his personality.
