Hello, My great great grandfather, Frederick KIRCHER, according to some in
the family, came from Wuerttemberg Germany around 1845. A few years later in
Illinois (some feel this may have been in Whiteside County.) I did find some
data there on a Frederick KIRCHER, but that Frederick married a Louisa FRY.
At some point he married a Louisa FIX. Some say that Louisa too came from
Wuremtmberg. Unfortunately both Frederick AND Louisa have been a brick wall.
This has been complicated by the fact that I've data on at least four
Frederick KIRCHER's from Illinois to Kansas to Mississippi to Pennsylvania.
Any help you might provide on the FIX surname would certainly be
