Subject: [ILCLINTON] Shoad Creek Prairie

I have been trying to find John and Anna Barbara
Schroeder (Schroder) in the Clinton County 1850 census
with no luck. I can find them in all of the later
censuses but not that one. In Anna Barbara's obituary
it states that she and John came to Breese, IL in 1847
and settled on a farm in Shoad Creek Prairie. Does
anyone know if Shoad Creek Prairie is indeed in
Clinton County? I was hoping maybe it is in a nearby
county where I haven't looked and that is why I
haven't found them. Thanks for any help.
