The death of Mrs. Bertha Tohill wife of Charles Tohill, occurred at a few minutes before seven Tuesday evening at the home of her father-in-law, Louis Tohill, two miles northwest of Flat Rock, after an illness dating from the early part of last June. Mrs. Tohill, whose maiden names was Miss Bertha Carver, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Carver of this city and was born April 5, 1882 and Died Oct. 23, 1906 thus being 24 years, 6 months and 18 days of age at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Charles Tohill March 10, 1904. To this union one child was born who still survives together with the father. Mrs. Tohill is also survived by her parents, two sisters, Misses Dee and Hallie, and one bother Samuel, and one half-brother, A. L. Carver of this city. She united with the Presbyterian Church in this city, Jan. 17, 1896, and remained a consistent member to the time of her death. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Presbyter!
ian church Rev. C. T. Phillips, being in charge. Interment will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Mrs. Tohill was preceded to the grave only two months ago by her sister Mrs. Laura Ewing who died of consumption last August.
