Dear County list,
This morning we have uploaded webpages which may be of some help to
researchers with family in Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, and Douglas
counties, in Illinois. We conduct a Library of church records, minutes,
periodicals (with
obituaries), etc., in Carthage, Illinois, called the Primitive Baptist
Library. We have a database of members of our churches in Illinois,
past and present, including many very early pioneers. The database has
been created from church records, periodicals, and other reliable
sources. We have many shelves of bound periodicals with obituaries of
members in them.
We have now entered about sixty of the 80 counties we expect to
upload. We welcome you to visit our websites shown below, and sign the
guest book, and give what information you can if you think we might be
able to help.
