In summary:
Samuel Doty 1770-1833 Moby, S.C. married
Mary (Polly) Lamb, lived in Warren County, KY and
Monroe County, Ind. Their Children: Jeremiah 1794,
John M. 1797, Daniel 1800, Joseph, Preston, James 1809,
Prudence, Featherston, Samuel T. 1822, Ruben.

James Doty 1809 son of Samuel married Deborah.
Children: Mary 1831, Nancy (Read), Marshall 1835,
Daniel 1836, Stephen 1839, James J. 1843, Betsy (Brown).

James J. Doty 1843-1882 married Millie Caroline
Byford. Children: Thomas Jefferson, Mary Elizabeth,
James Henry, John Willis, Netty Jane, Alva Louis, Milly
Luiza.
