Subject: [ILEDWARD] 1850 Census look up please?

Would anyone be able to do an 1850 census look up for me please? I am
specifically looking for a 9-10 year old boy named Robert James. I
really do not know who he would be living with, but his Mother may be
named Edith Simkins.
Sorry for how vague the info is, but Robert appears to have been
orphaned. I received a copy of a Guardian Bond from 1854 for him from
the Edwards County clerk (what an Angel!) and he shows up in 1870 in
Edwards County Illinois, but I have been unable to locate him on a
census prior to 1870. Thank you very much for any help!
