1. Jackson Jacob LAMBERT was born in Ohio about 1842. Jackson died 22
May 1886 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, at 43 years of age.

He married Anna FRANKLAND 19 March 1868 in Albion, Edwards County,
Illinois. They were married by Rev. Thomas SMITH, minister of the
Presbyterian Church. Anna was born about 1840 in Edwards County, Illinois.
Anna was the daughter of Robert FRANKLAND. Anna died 17 October 1926 in
Denver, Denver County, Colorado, at 86 years of age.

His name appears variously as Jackson J. and Jacob J.; and is also
referred to as J. J. LAMBERT. He does not appear to be related to the
prolific LAMBERT family of the Enterprise neighborhood of Edwards County.
In 1860 he was apprenticed to Otis T. MACOMBER, a cabinetmaker who moved to
Edwards County, Illinois from Maine. During the Civil War he served as a
private in Company I of the Thirty-Eighth Illinois Infantry for three
years, being mustered out 15 September 1864. In 1870, Jacob J. LAMBERT is
again listed as a cabinetmaker in Albion. In March, 1869 Ralph S. THOMPSON
and J. J. LAMBERT published the first newspaper in Edwards County, "The
Pioneer".

Jackson Jacob LAMBERT and Anna FRANKLAND had the following
children:

2 i. Nellie LAMBERT was born in Albion, Edwards County, Illinois
December 1869. Nellie died before 1942.
+ 3 ii. Harry F. LAMBERT Sr. was born 1 May 1873.

Second Generation

3. Harry F. LAMBERT SR. (Jackson Jacob1) was born in Albion, Edwards
County, Illinois 1 May 1873. Harry died about 7 March 1942 in Denver,
Denver County, Colorado, at approximately 68 years of age.
