I am confused...maybe someone has thoughts on this.
1850 census Mason, Effighham Co.
William HOLLAND 38 M b. Va.
Charles " 32 F b. Tenn
with children listed
1860 census Mason, Effingham Co.
William HOLLAND 48 b. Va
Elizabeth R. 41 b. Tenn
with children listed
1870 census Mason, Effingham Co.
William HOLLAND 58 b. Va.
Rosa E. 50 b. Tenn
I then get a death record for a child of William Holland that shows
Name of Father: William Holland b. Ohio
Name of Mother: Sarah Bradley b. Tennessee
I don't have a problem with the 1860 and 1870 census with Elizabeth R.
and Rosa E. as it looks close enough but the 1850 census with Charles as
a female and then the death record showing Sarah Bradley. Any thoughts?
Mike
