There are so many knowledgeable people on these list, I'm hoping someone
may be able to help me learn much more about this church than I presently
know. It was organized by 1833 or earlier, and was called Beck's Creek
in its early history, I think. I have not found a photo or the actual
records of the church, but find it listed in the Kaskaskia Baptist
Association minutes. Pastors included J.K. Beer, Miles H. Abbott, James
Beck, and Z. S. Price. The best I can determine it was about 2 miles
southeast of Hanson, 6 miles north of Ramsey; 6 miles south of Oconee,
and 3 miles west of Dressor. I do have the names of some of the members
in a database.
