Dear Listers,

Does anyone have knowledge as to the mortuaries that would have served Vandalia during the early and mid 1890's?

I am attempting to locate funeral home records on the burial of my great grandmother believed to be Aurelia Ritter nee Draper believed to have died ca 1893-1894. She is known to be buried in Ritter Cemetery but unfortunately no stone survives. The only record that lists her name is the marriage license of her daughter Minnie Ritter, but the clerks hand writing was not too legible.
