I've just recently subscribed to this list. I've run into a brick wall
searching for the parents of my great-great grandmother, Nancy THOMPSON. I
can find lots of Nancy Thompsons, but am having difficulty determining the
right family. She lived her adult life in LaSalle, McLean, and Woodford
counties, but her obituary (included below) listed two siblings from
Melvin, and at least fourteen individuals from Ford county attended her
funeral. I'm hoping someone might recognize some of the names and be able
to offer some clues to help me continue my search. Thanks for any help.
