Hello there Sarah,
Don't know alot about the church but it was a Catholic Church located on the
North Side of Kankakee and was predominently a "Polish" Church. The
building
is still there but I think they merged with St Teresa's a number of years
ago. You may want to Check with St Teresa's Catholic Church, Kankakee.
They
may be able to help you.

I found a few more things on St Stans.... It was formed in 1900 and seperated
from the German (St Mary's) Catholic Church., They built a school by 1906.
They were definetly known as the Polish Catholic Church.
