Willis married Ellen Tucker, dau of Jerry Tucker of Jefferson Co IL31
on July 1879 in Franklin Co. ch:
Edward b. 1880 m. Bertha Goss
Alva b. 1883 m. Minnie Mae Britton
Floyd b. 1872 m. Rena Haggard
Myrtie b. 1889 m. Wiflford Denham
Willie died young.

Ellis Carter m. 1858 Julina M Thacker'
ch: Nancy M. m. William Meadows
Matilda m. Francis M. Warren
Alive m. Collie Bolen
Cynthia m. Lewis Lowery and Mc Coy Carter m. Mary A Payne
these Carter brothers were full blood Cherokee Indian. Can someone
provide parents for them or tell me where in Tenn.they originated..
any help appreciated.
