OMER LEON ADCOCK
MESA, ARIZONA

Omer Leon ADCOCK, 83, formerly of Christopher, died at his home in Mesa
on Saturday, June 20, 1998.
Services will be held Sunday, June 28 at 3 p.m. in the Gilbert Funeral
Home, Christopher, with the Rev. Jerry AKIN officiating. Burial will be in
the Mulkeytown Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday until time of
service at the funeral home.
Mr. ADCOCK was born on Nov. 27, 1914, in Portageville, Mo., the son of
Isaac M. and Martha L. (GOINES) ADCOCK. He was married to the former Doris
BIBY who died Sept. 10, 1990.
A retired coal miner, he was an Army veteran of World War II and a
member of the V.F.W. and American Legion in Christopher.
Survivors include one son, Gene ADCOCK of Pennsylvania; two grandsons,
Mark ADCOCK of Colorado and Chris ADCOCK of Phoenix and three
great-grandchildren.
