Hello everyone and Happy New Year.
I'll 2nd (or is it 3rd or 4th?) the motion that Jesse and Mahala (and
probably Andrew) were siblings from TN. Jesse Sr had a dau by his 2nd wife
Alsie WHITTINGHAM (sis to Lewis WHITTINGHAM) named for her Aunt Mahala (I
believe niece Mahala married Augustus DANIEL in 1868).
Also Nat. JONES and Jesse CLEVELAND's wives (Elizabeth SUMMERS and Malinda
SUMMERS, respectively) were kin.
