ARZIE WILLARD BROWN
ZIEGLER
Arzie Willard BROWN, 70, of 102 Maple St., died at his home at 10:20
a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. in the
Harrison Cemetery, Buckner, with Brother Harold LEWIS officiating. There
will be no visitation. Those attending are asked to go directly to the
cemetery. The Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher, is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. BROWN was born on Feb. 24, 1928, in Cave In Rock, the son of
George Otis and Stella Mae (SIMMONS) BROWN of Smithland, Ky.
He was a retired cement mason and belonged to a Paducah local.
He was of the Apostolic faith.
Survivors include his mother, Stella Mae BROWN of Smithland, Ky.; two
daughters, Gloria Jean BATES of Mulkeytown, Linda Sue BRADFORD of
Coello; one son, Willard Edward BROWN of Christopher; eight
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Pearl ROBERTS
of Mayfield, Ky. and Sue HARREL of Metropolis.
He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Mary Ann
BROWN.
