WELLS/ULREY FAMILY REUNION

Hi, I am your cousin Barbara Henson in St. Louis. You may have already
heard that we are planning a Wells/Ulrey family reunion on Saturday, August
18 at Rend Lake in Benton, Illinois. I'm trying to let all descendents (and
their families) of Jasper Overton & Mary Molly Asbery WELLS and/or Albert
Noah & Elmira Ethel Cripps ULREY know about it. If you would pass this info
on to your children, grand-children, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews, etc., I would appreciate it, since I do not have every
one's address.

We have reserved Family Pavilion #7 at North Marcum Day Use area from 8AM
till l0 PM. To get there, take I-57 to exit 77 - go west on IL route 154 for
¼ mile. Turn left onto Gun Creek Trail. Go south 3 miles to Marcum Branch
Rd. Turn right, go ½ miles to park entrance.

Since we don't have any idea of how many people will be there, it would be
best if each family is responsible for their own food. The picnic shelter is
equipped with electricity and barbecue grills and there are restrooms and
water nearby. There are also playgrounds, swimming, boating, golfing, etc.

Cabins and campsites are available on first come first served basis and can
be reserved by calling 1-877-444-6777. Here are some numbers for nearby
motels: Season's Lodge at Rend Lake is 1-800-999-0977. Rend Lake Resort &
Restaraunt is 1-800-333-3341. There are 3 hotels in Benton - Gray Plaza
618-439-3113, Days Inn 618-439-3183 and Super 8 618-438-8205. There are also
quite a few motels in Mt. Vernon.

Please try to come. Also, if you have any old family pictures or
information that you would like to share, bring it along, too.
