SUNNYLAND
Burl E. WILLIAMS Jr., 70, died at 2:51, Saturday, Sept.
22, 2001, in the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilton
Mortuary. The Rev. Don ZUMWALT will officiate. Burial will
be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9
p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Northern Tazewell Fire
Department in Sunnyland.
Mr. WILLIAMS was born Jan. 23, 1931, in Sesser, the son
of Burl E. Sr. and Lillian (SWAFFORD) WILLIAMS. He married
Mickey (LINGENFELTER) WILLIAMS on June 30, 1956 in Peoria.
She survives.
A welder, he retired in 1983 as a supervisor of
Caterpillar Inc. after 34 years.
He was a Korean Army veteran.
In addition to his wife, Mickey, he is survived by one
daughter, Kim Marie (and Terry) MONTGOMERY and one son,
Richard, both of Naples, Fla.; one brother, Curtis of
Benton; and three grandchildren.
