RootsWeb shows Peter SMITH and Melissa HERRON as the parents of David SMITH
b. 10 FEB 1858 in Gibson County, Indiana d. 23 AUG 1927 in Gibson County,
Indiana. David married Etta Belle HAGGARD on12 FEB 1896 in Benton, Franklin
County, Illinois David and Etta had Charlie C. SMITH b: 23 AUG 1917 in
Franklin County, Illinois.

Does anyone have any information on this line? Does anyone have any census
or other information on Peter SMITH and Melissa HERRON? I think that they
also had a daughter Lucinda Ella SMITH. Lucinda SMITH is my maternal great
grandmother.
