Nancy Olive HARRIS, 94, of Mt. Vernon died 3:43 p.m. Oct. 26, 2002, at Mt.
Vernon Care Center. She worked for the telephone company in Washington D.C.
for more than 20 years. Mrs. HARRIS was born Aug. 28, 1908 in Jefferson
County to James Robert and Bessie Viola (McBRAIN) HUGHEY. She married G.L.
HARRIS; he died in February 1973. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m.
today at the Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville, Tenn. The Rev. Tommy JOWERS
will officiate. There will be no local visitation.

Mrs. HARRIS is survived by two sisters, Wanda CRIVOKAPICH of Mt. Vernon and
Florine HEIM and husband Robert of Decatur; and several nieces and
nephews.She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Mt. Vernon. Mrs.
HARRIS was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and four
sisters. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hughey Funeral
Home, where you may call 242-3348 for obituary information at any time.
