MAX LINK
Max H. LINK, 84, died May 26, 2003. He was a former Sears and Roebuck
employee in Mt. Vernon and a former sales representative with Jasper Engine.
He was born in Ewing to Riley and Edith HERRIN LINK. He married Regina
"Reggy" (WOOD) LINK; she survives. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m.
Thursday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County, Ky. In addition
to his wife of fifty-four years, Mr. LINK is survived by two daughters,
Paula LINK CAUDILL of Lexington, Ky., and Alice LINK CLOUD of Mount Vernon,
Ky.; a grandson, Michael Shawn CLOUD of Mt. Vernon, Ky.; a sister, Martha I.
PUFFER of Lexington, Ky.; and nephews Chris PUFFER of Mansfield, Tex., and
Max PUFFER and Phil PUFFER, both of Chester, Va. Mr. LINK was a member of
Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was in the Army during
World War II, serving in the Normandy and Central Europe campaigns. W.R.
Milward Mortuary, in Lexington, Ky. is in charge of the funeral
