Cuz's, Recently many queries and answers about parentage of Sarah Jane "Sally" ROBERSON have cropped up. I have noticed, with interest that all the replies listed her father, Matthew Lewis ROBERSON as living from (1826 - 1962) that would have made him 136 years old upon his death. His correct date of death was 15 Dec 1862. He was a Union Soldier serving in the 19th Iowa Regiment, Company E and died of Dysentery in the Army Hospital in Springfield, MO. Since he is my Great Great Grandfather, I am definitely thankful that he did all his begattin before marching off to war.
