BENTON PAPER........July 1, 2003

Benton Police responded to 1202 Enterprise St on Monday Morning where Richard Wampler had foud six gravestones on his property. He found then Sunday night and according to the Police Dept they are from the M & OF Cemetery in Benton. A mystery of how they got there. The old stones have been taken back to the cemetery and they will be given to the family of each one.. The names on the stones are Barney CASSAWAY, Gertrude HEATON, Carolyn Gilda DE MATTRI, Minnie BAILOR, Mary RONE and C. M. TIPPPIE.
