Dear Melissa:
As a child of divorce I not only lost a father but his family at the age of 3
. My Mom moved with her new husband to Carbondale, IL leaving her family
behind, so I have always had that missing part of my life, Called a family past.
It has been most rewarding filling the gaps in my life to discover who my
ancestors were. The other amazing thing is there at times seems to be a sense of
the right place to look for them. I think they want to be acknowledged also.
