Vicky Jo BRAVARD, 52, of Helena, Ala., died 11:43 p.m. Nov. 8, 2003, at her
home. She was a store manager for eight years in Helena, Ala. Mrs. BRAVARD
was born May 2, 1951, in Jefferson County to Ruhlin and Deloris (KERLEY)
GREGORY. She first married Rick L. OWENS; he is deceased. She later married
Wendell W. BRAVARD Jr. June 14, 1989, in Paducah, Ky. Funeral services were
held 10 a.m. Nov. 11 at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home in Hueytown, Ala. Scott
BUSH and Tommy LITTLETON officiated. Burial followed at Acker Cemetery in
Bibb County, Ala.

Mrs. BRAVARD is survived by her husband, Wendell W. BRAVARD Jr.; a son, Rick
S. OWENS and wife Bobbie of Helena, Ala.; two stepsons, Gregory BRAVARD and
Andrew BRAVARD of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Tina OWENS of Helena, Ala.; a
step-daughter, Melissa SCHULTZ and husband Brandon of Mt. Vernon; a
granddaughter, Janele OWENS of Helena, Ala.; a step-granddaughter, Samantha
K. BRAVARD of Mt. Vernon; a sister Linda LOVIN and husband Bob of Mt.
Vernon; a niece, Debra MORRIS and husband David; and two great-nieces,
Brooke MORRIS and Brittany MORRIS, both of Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in
death by her parents and a brother, Marshall GREGORY. Mrs. BRAVARD was a
member of South Crest Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the American
Cancer Society. Obituary information was submitted by Wendell W. BRAVARD Jr.
and Linda LOVIN.
