Bob,
what would you like to know ?? about John Clark PHILLIPS 1885-1973 s/o Henry
PHILLIPS and Emma D COMBS
he was a publisher, his wife Louise MEYERS (she was a music teacher)
I have talked quite a bit with George, their son, who lives out on 14 northwest
of Benton.
Clark wrote "Saga of the Phillips Outfit".
George has told me stories about how they moved out to Ewing Twp. during
the winter of 1924 - the last three miles was not "hard" paved, so
it was a struggle for a while for Clark to get home at times. George
has Parkinson's pretty bad - I did not see him last July.
I believe George's siblings, Bill, Thomas, and June are all still living - the
oldest
son John Henry PHILLIPS 1911-1934 had one son.
