Pat, I think that's a terrific idea! And boy, do I have a doozie to bring,
if this is done! It has my great-grandparents in it, (Casabianca Finnel
("Bance") WARREN, wife Mary Jane (BARNFIELD) WARREN), and their daughter
Lottie (b. 1898) Written on the back of the original photo is "Nov. 1902
Mrs. JOHNSON's birthday - decoration". So I am assuming a Mrs. JOHNSON is
there, that it is her birthday, and it is possibly "Decoration Day" (?)
There are more than 50 persons in the photo, on and in front of a
ginger-bread porch of a one-story home - the porch eave lattice-work has
ears of corn hanging from it. The photo is a large one, on brittle
cardboard, broken and cracked, with parts of it missing. "Bance" & Mary Jane
lived in , and were active church members in Northern Twp, FCI, so the photo
might be of a large church group. I can identify none but the three named.
I have a few others that I could bring also.
Jo Ann
