MARGARET MAE ZIMMERMAN
SESSER
Margaret Mae ZIMMERMAN, 91, of Sesser, died at 5:02 p.m. March 26, 2004, in
Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born May 10, 1912, in Cobden, the
daughter of Roscoe and Millie Ann (PETERMAN) PEARSON, who preceded her in
death. She married Donald ZIMMERMAN June 25, 1932, in East ST. Louis. He
preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1999. Mrs. ZIMMERMAN was a homemaker.

Survivors include four sons: Harold Eugene ZIMMERMAN and his wife, Virginia,
Donnie Lee ZIMMERMAN and his wife, Darline, Jack ZIMMERMAN, and John David
ZIMMERMAN and his wife, Linda, all of Sesser; seven grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. ZIMMERMAN was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, one brother, and one
grandson. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the
Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser, with Bro. Larry COOK and the Rev.
Dan WILLIAMS officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.
Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Visitation was held
Sunday evening at the funeral home.
