Doris Christian <>
transcribed the 1840 census for Franklin County, IL, and has sent it to
the USGenWeb for inclusion in their census project.

I proof-read the census for her so I had an opportunity to speak to her
on the phone. Doris has no connection to Franklin County. She was
transcribing the Fayette County, IL, census (where she has ancestors)
and Franklin County, IL, was on the same disc.......so she decided to
transcribe FCI also.

Would be nice if members of our list sent her a thank you,
