EDWIN J. CHUBB
Dunwoody, Ga.
Edwin J. CHUBB, 83, of Dunwoody, Ga., died Friday June 18, 2004, in
Portsbridge Hospice, Dunwoody, Ga., with lung cancer. A memorial service was
held June 6(sic) at St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church in Dunwoody,
Ga. A private graveside service will be held in Benton on Wednesday, Aug. 4.
Mr. CHUBB was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Hutchinson, Kan. He attended Kansas
state College. He was employed by Smith-Dorsey Pharmaceutical for 17 years
and Kremers-Urban Pharmaceutical Company for 22 years and was national top
volume salesman for both companies for most of those years.
He was a member of Northlake-DeKalb Kiwanis Club, Scottish Rite Valley of
Knoxville, Royal Order of Jesters Knoxville Court 57, Kerbela Shrine, Sevier
Lodge 334 and St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church. He was preceded in
death by his parents, Cecil O. and Beatrice CHUBB of Great Bend, Kan.; a
brother, Lewis Orr CHUBB of Great Bend, Kan.; and his first wife, Roberta
STEWART CHUBB of Knoxville, Tenn. He is survived by his wife of 17 years,
Barbara McPHERSON CHUBB of Dunwoody, Ga.; one son and daughter-in-law, John
O. and Terri CHUBB of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Donna C. BROCKIE of
Dallas, Texas; a sister-in-law, Polly CHUBB of Great Bend, Kan.; and four
nieces and three nephews.
