Brandon Lee TINDALL, 21, of Benton died at St. James Hospital in Olympia
Fields on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday,
Sept. 20, at the Benton Civic Center, with the Rev. Dan WHITFIELD, the Rev.
Mark MINOR and Jim MUIR officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery
in Benton. Morton & Johnston Funeral Home of Benton is handling the
arrangements. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Benton Civic
Center and after 10 a.m. Monday until the funeral hour, at the Civic Center.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Brandon Tindall Support
Fund, 1005 Election Circle, Benton, IL 62812. Brandon was born November 9,
1982, in West Frankfort, the son of Jeffrey Allen and Cheryl Ann (EZELL)
TINDALL.

Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Cheryl TINDALL of Whittington; his
sister, Karissa Jo TINDALL of Benton; his brother, Tim TINDALL and wife,
Amanda, of Salem; niece and nephew, Niccolette Anise and Johnathan Eric;
grandparents, Shirley TINDALL of Benton, and Don and Bonnie EZELL of Sesser;
several aunts, uncles and cousins; two special friends, Melissa EGELAND and
Desi DESIDERIO; and a host of friends, teammates and opponents that Brandon
had been in contact with over the years. Brandon was preceded in death by
his grandfather, John Allen TINDALL. He was on the 2001 Benton Ranger
baseball team that finished fourth at state. He attended Kankakee Community
College, playing baseball for the Cavaliers. Brandon still holds records for
the Rangers and the Cavaliers. He played summer league ball for the Leon
Baseball team in Chicago, and was known on the team as "Big Country".
