THELMA LEA SHABEC
Thelma Lea SHABEC, 75, of McLeansboro died 7:50 p.m. Nov. 18, 2004, at her
home. She was a homemaker. Mrs. SHABEC was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Hamilton
County to Calvin and Cosie (ADAMS) COCKE. She married Frank R. SHABEC July
3, 1948; he survives. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. today at Gholson
Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with Monsignor Joseph LAWLER officiating.
Burial followed at St. Clements Cemetery in McLeansboro.

Mrs. SHABEC is survived by her husband, Frank R. SHABEC of McLeansboro;
sons Rudy SHABEC and wife Carol of Temecula, Calif., William SHABEC of
Parrish, Fla., and and Fred SHABEC and wife Jennifer of Lake of the Hills;
a daughter, Becky SHABEC of Elk Grove; two grandchildren, Robin KINSER and
David FERRIER; and sisters Opal CHELF of Longview, Texas, and Nada SMITH of
Westchester. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gladys
THOMPSON. Mrs. SHABEC was of the Catholic Faith. For more information you
