they are not brothers, but based on ages of those serving, I believe this are
the ones you mention:
James J ICE (1846-?) s/o James J ICE (1810-1867) and Mahala J HAYS
John ICE (1844-1905) s/o Andrew Jackson ICE and Matilda Emily CARR
Thomas J ICE ???
James W ICE ??? (is this the James s/o Andrew Jackson ICE and Matilda Emily
CARR? - would be right age)
(Note both Andrew Jackson ICE and James J ICE were b. Alabama -- no doubt
cousins somehow..)
