West Frankfort Daily American - Wednesday, 9 Feb 2005.

Walter L. TODD, age 80, of West Frankfort, passed away at 8:15 p.m. Monday Feb 7, 2005 at his residence. He was born Nov 16, 1924, in Benton IL., to Noah TODD and Mary Ethel (HALL) TODD. He married Margaret (MITCHELL) TODD on Feb 16, 1957 in West Frankfort and she survives.
He is survived by wife, daughter, Peggy Ellen BREWER of Ottawa, IL. one brother, Charles Kenneth TODD of Benton, four sisters, Rose SUMMERS, Elizabeth TODD and Nadine ROBEY all of Benton and Gladys THOMPSON of Jasper, GA. Also surviving is his adopted sister, Vonnie June BOTTEN of Benton as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were at 11 a.m. Thursday Feb. 10, 2005 at the First Church of God on Illinois 37 South in West Frankfort.
Burial was in the Denning Cemetery.
