Martha Mattie WEBB, 95, of Christopher died at 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12,
2005, at her home. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb.
14, at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher, officiated by the Rev. David
McCONNELL. Burial will be at the Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of
flowers, memorials to Southern Illinois Hospice will be accepted at the
funeral home.

The daughter of Ed and Suzie THOMAS, Martha was born Feb. 27, 1909, in
Hamburg, Ill. She was married to Denver WEBB. She worked at Kirk's Pharmacy
for many years, and she was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. WEBB was survived by
her daughter, Lorraine CUTLER of Christopher; two grandchildren, Stephen and
Connie CUTLER of Christopher, and Pamela and Tracy CUMMINS of El Cajon,
Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer CUTLER, April STURGON, Sarah
CUMMINS and Rachael CUMMINS; and one great great-grandson, Jacob
STUEHLMEYER. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her
son-in-law, Wendell CUTLER.
