EULA M. "MABLE" OWENS

Eula M. "Mable" OWENS, 90, of Centralia died July 19, 2005, at Centralia
Fireside House. She was retired from Wheaton Plastics, where she was a machine
operator. Mrs. OWENS was born Nov. 4, 1914, in Benton to Radford and Rosetta
(DENTON) McCORMICK. She married Anthony R. OWENS Dec. 12, 1931, in Centralia; he
died May 9, 1978. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Irvin
Funeral Home Chapel in Centralia. The Rev. Larry MORSE will officiate. Burial
will follow at Boyd Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at Irvin
Funeral Home Chapel in Centralia.

Mrs. OWENS is survived by two sons, Earl OWENS and wife Mary of Howard, Ohio,
and Robert OWENS and wife Martha of Marion; a daughter, Dolores KELL of
Centralia; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two
great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband; brothers Atha McCORMICK, Paul McCORMICK, Arval McMORMICK and Bill
McCORMICK; sisters Florence HUTCHISON and Beatrice ROBINETT; and a grandchild,
Steven KELL. Mrs. OWENS returned to Centralia in 1988 after living in Mt. Vernon
for 12 years. Prior to moving to Mt. Vernon after her husband's death, she had
lived in Walnut Hill since 1931. She was a member of 15th Street Church of God.
Memorials may be made to 15th Street Church of God in Centralia. For more
