CLASS of 1955 CELEBRATES 50th REUNION
The Benton Consolidated High School Class of 1955 met at the Conference Center
of the Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park on Oct. 1 to celebrate their 50th reunion.
There were 51 class members in attendance and 46 guests. A delicious meal was
enjoyed with '50s Trivial Pursuit following. Prizes were awarded to Arnold and
Daily MOORE of Benton, married the longest; Joe and Judy ATTEBERRY of Rouge
River, Ore., traveling the farthest; Judy STEWART DARDAGANIAN of Dallas for the
most education; and Steve B. SMITH Jr. of Temple Terrrace, Fla., for highest
military ranking as Naval commander. New officers were elected, with Ken
WHITTINGTON as president and Ruth Ann CARTER as secretary. The next reunion will
be the first Saturday of October 2010.
