Greetings!

It's been a while since I've written, so I thought I would list my
updated information with the hope that someone out there can help me
fill in the blanks.

I'll start with those people that I can connect to Gallatin County for
sure. In the 1880 Gallatin County Census, in the Township of Equality,
I found our ggg grandmother, Martha J. DAILY(nee GRIMES)b.1848 in
Crawford County Illinois, living with her brother, John B.GRIMES b. 1845
born in Crawford County Illinois, John's wife Rhoda(nee Webb), John and
Rhoda's children, and her father, William T. GRIMES b. 1813 in Penn.
Martha's 2 children are also with her, Sarah(Sallie)DAILY b. 1868 and
William H. DAILY b.1872 both born in Illinois. There is no mention of
Martha's husband, but she is listed as being married.

I would really appreciate any information about Martha's husband, her
father's place and date of death, anything on Martha's mother, Martha's
son William DAILY, birth place and death date. I know William died
before 1900 and Sarah's(Sallie) place of birth.

I have information on Sarah(Sallie) DAILY, Martha's daughter,and I'm
hoping that she still lived in the Gallatin County area when these
events occurred. Sarah(Sallie) DAILY married a William Sherman RODGERS
b. 1870 in Indiana, around 1892. William is the son of a George W.
RODGERS(more about George later) They had 3 children who were born in
Illinois. Martha E. and William RODGERS. They were twins and they were
b. September 1892. George W. RODGERS b. September 1894. I'm hoping
someone has information on places where marriage and births were.

And finally, George W. RODGERS b. 1838 in Jefferson County Kentucky. I
know he was married twice. I know he lived in Indiana for a period of
time. I believe his second wife was named Elizabeth. Now for the
specualtion part. I believe his first wife was Nancy WEBB, from
Gallatin County. I just haven't been able to connect the George that is
married to Nancy is my George. Hopefully someone has information that
may verify that they are the same person.
