Bob,

Don't know for sure if he was in Gallatin Co or not. He and Sarah married
in Saline Co.

>From his descendants, "Charles never saw his father. His father was a
Confederate soldier. He died from exposure on rail piles and never
returned home to see his new son". Sad.

Really don't know anything else about him. If you find he is yours,
holler. I have descendant info I'll share.
