Paula,

I checked the book on History and Families of Gallatin County. There is
no Lawler-Riley listing, however, under General Michael Kelly Lawler,
where his children are listed. I found this:

Peggy born in 1844, married her first cousin, M. K. Riley and had four
cildren who died in infancy.

Peggy would be the Mary, age 6 listed in the 1850 on line census for
Michael Lawler in Gallatin County. I saw her somewhere on the internet
listed as Mary (Peggy) Lawler. I couldn't find this marriage in the
Illinois on line
marriage index.

Lucille's husband is a descendant of General Michael Kelly Lawler.

Do you think that M. K. Riley could be Michael Kelly Riley?
