Hello,

If your Gallatin County ancestors lived in the northern portion of the county in Bear Creek (Omaha) or New Haven Townships, you need to check out the online biographies at the Gallatin County ILGenWeb page. Linda Roberts just donated nearly 40 transcribed biographies from The History of White County (1883) which also included info on those two townships.
