Laura Wiseheart was the oldest of five children of William and Sarah Thomasson Gill Wiseheart. William was the fourth son of John and Elizabeth Miller Wiseheart, who had moved into Gallatin County by 1829 from Hardin County, Kentucky (through Indiana).

I'll send a couple of attachments off-list to add more about the Wisehearts, especially.
