Here is the information I received regarding where Bowlesville is. I would
also like to know if anyone has any old pictures of Bowlesville or Saline
Mines they might be able to send me? I'm building a website on Ghost Towns
of Illinois and would love to have some information to put on it for this
town. I would like to know some of the old families that lived there too.

turn at old high school in new s'town, go about 4 miles to peabody road,
turn left about 1/4 mile to cemetary road, turn left about 1 mile, hogan cem
on right. bowlesvill was in the field directly to the right of cemetary.
