The address for the Gallatin County Courthouse is as follows:

The cost of obtaining the records is:

Birth, Death and Marriage from 1878 to the present $5.00 per copy. (Birth
and Death records officially start in 1878 but there are a few earlier birth
records that were filed as Delayed Records [some are as early as the late
1860's, but not many])

For marriages prior to 1830 contact the office and they will give you a
phone number at Carbondale to get copies of those records from.

The office phone number for the Gallatin County Clerk is 618-269-3025.

They also request that you send a self addressed stamped envelope with your
request and that your request not contain more than five (5) records each.

Please include as much info as to dates as you can.
